New stuff! If at least they varied their setlists a bit more I might give it a second thought but as things stand I go for new material.

LOL sorry i know it was a mean question like I said the oompas said it was pointless I am not sure it is really that stupid ... I am not saying the choice is simple i am just asking about what if ... i am enjoying everyone opinion .. I don't know yet any big tourer posting their replies here ... but I am thinking that if you are not ADDICTED to the live thing (for all the valid reasons everyone can have) then its totally understandable and logic that a tour is defintitely not the most important ... but for me a jovi show the most important because everything is in it .. the artist heart and ability to hold a crowd ., the live performance on a technical way , the songs the melodies the musicians performances the lyrics everything is in + the connections between everything + the connection with the audience ....

what is the most frustrating for me ? no new materials or to never have heard live this or that song ? (why is it making the jovi world so excited for weeks about expectations for the setlist please play dry county please play Homebound Train or IF I was Your Mother or Fear or Damned and so on ) for me it's really the live thing ... because for me the live act include it all ....I'd rather have them do shows because maybe then they won't do their classic only

some band are not LIVE band they are excellent in studio but their live show just don't do it then you have rare bands that have all their power maybe not but a huge part of it located in their live show ...this is Jovi for me... their live are even better than their studio... a so so song can become a masterpiece live and I believe that this power is not for every band it's a gift ... this is why I choose LIVE SHOWS before new materials

Coming from Australia, the choice is simple...new material.

I'd take live shows over new material because they have so much material already. Not that I wouldn't want more...

Exactly shaz!
I'd take new material, because the last 2 concerts they held in Melbourne, both only went for 45 minutes, and short changed alot of fans!

It depends what ind of new material they're gonna bring out. If Bounce and TLFR are anything to go by I'd rather Bon Jovi just tour with their back catalogue. If they are gonna rock again then I'd go for new material. Bit of a pointless question though because as long as their is new music there will always be live shows anyway.

Since they rarely tour in my part of Canada, I'd choose new material.

New material, it stays with you forever.

A tour only lasts for the moment.
