At first I thought... LIVE shows, but as I was reading the replies I guess it depends on whether they changed the setlist up at the shows. They have enough of a catalog to keep my interest, but that's also assuming they would tour in my area every time (which they do). I'm a huge concert freak. I love going to concerts and some bands I go to see them for their old stuff (not Jovi). I think I will stick with the live shows. It's a really tough choice and I'm glad that I don't have to make it.

I'm looking into getting Elton John tickets. They're hard to come by. I'm trying to talk my husband into going because he doesn't like concerts.

Lolz....Thats a fair point, we have been ripped off a bit with concerts lately!

I reckon if we got guaranteed concerts here in Aus the choice would be a tough one though.

Tough one.
I'd go for live shows.
Why? I love their new releases but none will top some old albums - TD, KTF, NJ. .... I guess it has to do with the time when I discovered the band, those 3 records have a special meaning, and as I'm a rocker I dont believe they will ever rock as hard as they used to.

Nowardays they are managing their carreer. Still releasing some great songs that I love but ultimatly i think they have enough good material for a 10 year tour, changing the set list every year.

Of course I do want them to release more albuns, every time they feel they have something to say - if not as a band at least as solo artists - I would love another Richie album

As much as I love to see the guys rock out live I think I'd rather have new material. I actually haven't been to that many live shows but have still been a fan since '86. So, new material for me

But you can take photos for example...

I'd also choose the live shows, I can't replace the excitement of a show by listening just to an album. Besides, SWW/NJ/KTF are my favorite eras, especially NJ, so I wouldn't mind shows with all old stuff only.

Of course I voted on this one: "live shows with the Bon Jovi catalogue 1983/2004" because it's so amazing to see BJ live. My heart goes to a higher place in a BJ concert.
