Default IMO Bon Jovi should collaborate with Bernie Taupin!

My friend Chris, a NON Bon jovi fan, but one who ocassionally appreciates their music believes that this collaboration would be a good move..

What are your opinions

There's not a lot of point, because Bon Jovi can write the meldody AND the lyrics. I think i'm right in thinking that Bernie Taupin only writes lyrics and Elton writes the melodys?!

yeah, elton writes the music and bernie the lyrics... why not after all? a collaboration may not be bad at all (remember desmond)

bernie? mmmmmmmm i don't think it will fit on bj's style.

i do prefer a colaboration with rob hyman & eric bazilian from 'the hooters' (what a rockin' band!). they colaborate with jon on 'destination anywhere' (ugly ) .

I don't think that would be a good idea. A lot of "critics" have already been saying that Jon was trying too much to sound like Elton John with his story telling style on Bounce. I think that would just take the criticism to the next level. Plus.....I don't think that the style of music Bernie Taupin writes would fit in with what Jon and Richie write. Just my lowly unimportant opinion though.
