In The Mood For "Keep The Faith"

KTF is probably my favourate album. Simply put, it is music how I like it. Well written lyrics, strong vocals, funky bass lines, powerful riffs and epic solos. It also seems to cross across a few different genres, such as rock, hard rock, metal, pop, and "whoa-oooaaa-oooaaa-aooo a little bit of soul, yeah!"

I think Bon Jovi hit their peak around this time. There doesn't really seem to be a weak track on the album, apart from maybe If I Was Your Mother. Even the demos are top notch, such as Radio Saved My Life Tonight, Starting All Over Again, Fields of Fire, Why Aren't You Dead, and the remasters outake Save A Prayer. You could almost make a double album out of quality tracks from that era.

KTF, what can I say? Thanks Bon Jovi for such a masterpiece...
More than 10 years and parts like the end of "I believe", the speech of Jon after Richie's solo of "Keep the faith", Dry County...
Brilliant each and every minute!

Definitely up there with NJ as my fav album. I have never grown sick of Dry County, In These Arms, Fear, Save a Prayer, Starting All Over Again ......
The songs I am not fond of on it though are Blame it on the Love and Bed of Roses (I'm very bored with this song).
That's the difference between NJ and KTF in my opinion, NJ I can listen to each song over and over unlike 2 of the songs off KTF. But Dry County ahhhhhh.... there'll never be another Dry County again what can I say.
