Exactly, it's got that great haunting, minor key accoustic-riff, the philosophical lyrics and is a legend even though it never was released as a single. Not.

It's an amazing song and both versions work really well, so I'll shy away from choosing one or the other and just say it depends on my mood.

I'ma fan of the bands version more. Davids is nice but it doesn't have the vocal intensity that Jon's vocals do.

Watching the video yesterday, I kind of figured out my problem with the band version.

Jon smiles when he sings it. It's a song about desperately needing/missing someone, and he's smiling and bouncing around. It bugs me.

Anyway...I prefer the band version all because of Jon's voice...i prefer it to Dave's one,that's it.
