In the order they were released from way back in the 80,s. A mate lent my brother a recorded tape of the first album and I looked at the name of the group and thought they were French(due to the "Bon" bit). I eventually listened to it and realised they werent .They started appearing in Kerrang quite regularly and I saw them support KISS in 84 and that was when I got hooked. Still havent bought Crossroads though and unless anything spectacular comes up in the new tracks (not looking good so far) I wont be buying the greatest hits either.

After hearing Always, I bought Crossroad on tape in 94 and played it to death in my Walkman. After buying and loving These Days, I topped up the rest of the back catalogue pretty much at the same time, although I remember KTF was last for some reason. After that there was the 5 year gap until Crush, and I went mental collecting singles, albums, vinyls and everything I could get online and at record fairs and the like, even having ridiculous different versions of the same albums & singles!

SWW in the Autumn of 1986. Shortly after that I bought BJ and 7800 and then every album on the day of release there after, apart from the latest GH which I still haven't bought.

7800 Fahrenheit (bought the cassette on Feb 6th 1986)*
Bon Jovi (taped from a school mate in the summer of 1986)
SWW (taped from a school mate on Oct 10th 1986 - and at least once more later on because I wore out the first copy!)*
New Jersey (bought the vinyl LP on Sept 22nd 1988 )*
Blaze Of Glory (bought the vinyl LP on Aug 24th 1990)*

*I know the exact dates because I kept a diary on a daily basis as a teen

After 1990 I took a twelve year long break...

Crossroad (bought the CD in 2002)
Bought all the albums up until OWN (and except TD) on CD in a short span of time during summer 2002
These Days (couldn't find it in the store so somebody from a BJ forum I frequented at the time offered to burn me a CD-R in 2002)
Lunar Eclipse (the same person burned me a CD-R of this as well in 2002)
Bounce (I must have bought the CD in the summer of 2003... I initially thought it was in the summer of 2002 but then realized it didn't come out until October of that year! I know it was summertime when I bought it so...)

The Circle (bought the CD+DVD in 2009)
These Days (finally bought the CD this year!)
Stranger In This Town (bought the CD this year)

Never bought DA, TLFR, LH, HAND or GH and don't really plan to either. Will probably buy Undiscovered Soul at some point, though.

Being that I was too young to buy any, I just listened to whatever my mom owned already in the car. Ever since I was little they always had Cross Road in, sometimes they'd switch it out for Crush I think but I'm not certain. Then once they brought us all to a concert on the Lost Highway tour (I was about 12) I was sold and over time started downloading albums from the internet (bad, I know). We never owned all the albums until the Special Editions came out last year, which gave us an opportunity to get all the ones we didn't have. Still have to deal with the downloaded versions of some other albums like One Wild Night, Stranger In This Town, the Boxset, and probably will have to deal with that until I'm able to find them in hard copy somewhere.

My mom had KTF and Blaze... which I enjoyed the hits quite a bit but Boyz to Men were miles better back then

Then I bought Crossroads when it came out. I wore it out.

I bought These Days when it was released. It was good. Then I got dumped and Jon became the smartest man in the world and the deepest poet. I was learning the guitar at the same time... so I notice Richie as the best guitarest ever.

I went back and bought everthing else. Next to all the These Days b-sides, KTF was my favorite. But Wild is the Wind, Silent Night, Santa Fe, Miracle, Father Time, and I'd Die for You were all favorites back then. The rest is history.

I remember I bought Stranger's boxed edition (with the necklace and bonus track for 25 cents) They had a lot of them... so I bought a few. I wish now I had bought a lot more. Mid-90s for American's was a cheap time to collect Bon Jovi.
