I've got a feeling most of this 'interview' has come from a press conference rather than a one on one interview. I have read some of the quotes in other articles.

Really want another new studio album but longevity is the aim, so i'll definately appriciate that and be patient!

Was young when Jon and Richie last released solo stuff, so will be a newish experience for me! What's both their touring schedule like when they did solo stuff?

All that said, can't wait till a new studio album and tour rolls around!
(Also there's a thread about a German interview from a couple days ago, and the video link shows Richie saying the band will be back in the studio this year and back touring shortly.. someone want to clear up how these two threads go together?)

It was hard to take the rest of the article seriously after reading that. No one in Bon Jovi has ever been "widedly regarded" as the "best" of anything. It's a shame about that divorce from Denise Richards too.

I agree with you guys as much as I like Richie, that just isn't true. As for the Denise Richards, they did eventually realize how their mistake and the article does no read "Heather Locklear". Now only if a quarterback played baseball

I truly cant think of 5 guitarists that are currently on tour and working as much as Richie that are better than him, other than maybe EVH and I've never been a fan. Boy Im sure I've opened a can of worms but there are definitely better vocalists, David is in an extremely rare breed even though there are better pianists in the world maybe not in a rock band, and there are drummers who are in Tico's caliber, so I don't know I do consider Richie David and Tico to be good at what they do, and I actually feel that there are few to match the three of them in the world that are currently working

so show me how I'm wrong...

I definately think Richie is one of the best guitarists in the world, maybe not number one but one of the best.

Exactly. I mean, I would have been just as skeptical if the article said Jon was "widely regarded" as the "best" vocalist in the world. That kind of stuff is so subjective. It shows really poor writing on the journalist's part.
