Satriani, Malmsteen, Iommi, Young, none of those guys are currently on the road and working

I cant personally acknowledge Vai because he's a technician not a player but that is a personal opinion I guess...so Vai might be the only one

I don't rate Slash and never have, he's extremely limited IMO, are you serious about Phil Collen, and I'm probably showing extreme ignorance but I don't know who Adrian Vandenberg is

so no, none of those guys really rate against Richie at the moment IMO

For ****s sake, I'm not familiar with all those guitarists but there's no way Slash and Angus Young are better than Richie.

Liza, Adrian Vandenberg was a guitarist in Whitesnake for some years. He's from Holland and one of the best guitarists that this country has ever had.

I'll give you Steve Vai, though I'm not too farmiliar with some of these guys.

Is Jimmy Page actually active though? If not then he shouldn't be on there. He is better than Richie though, as is Blackmore.

Tony Iommi....I dunno, maybe equal, maybe better....

Slash, Phil Collen, Angus Young...**** off! Great guitarists but Richie kicks their arses, especially Slash and Angus.

All these years of the press slating Jovi, and then when they finally say they are great we want to pick it apart! He may not be the best guitarist in the world, but he is pretty damn good and it makes a change to "Poodle-mulleted cheesy rock dinosaur" that normally passes for intros to Bon Jovi.

None of the guitarists from the second wave of Glam Metal are better than the ones from the list I posted. You just only need to listen the songs completely, and not only the guitar solos.
