Never happened either. They all wanted to tour the record but Jon didn't want to and never made plans for it, he felt like Mick Jagger who'd go on tour without Keith Richards or the Stones and had always considered the idea very wrong.
No, but a 1 month tour is highly exaggerated. If Jon would've really been in SSJ's band for a month people would've gone and watch to see Jon play. He only did about 10 shows in Jersey/New York/Philadelphia in either July or August, that's all and he didn't play on all songs either. He was just there those few nights and travelled with them. Working Too Hard, which had been recorded for Southside Johnny's Better Days album was part of the set and he sang his parts on the nights he was there. He jammed along with a few other cover songs and that was it. He was never part of the full line up, Jon could barely remember the chords to his own songs, let alone 30 Southside Johnny songs.
Yeah, it's Billy Falcon's record Pretty Blue World.
A lot of it has always been an act. Just look at the difference from when he's "on" during the questions and then when he's "off" when the questions stop and he has to wait. He's already got the "I'm the star here" kinda thing. The only thing that changed over the years is that the act has gotten worse as the "I'm the star" kinda thing shines through everything he says and does nowadays.
