One radio station around here was playing it a while ago. She Don't Know Me still gets more airplay than it ever did though..

6th
where was i the last few months
Thierry is wrong. It got on the 6th spot of a chart based upon sales only. It topped at 2 in that chart. Anyway, in the one and only official chart here in Holland, the Mega Top 50, it got to 17.

AALY was definately not a hit here. Everyday was. That was a huge hit, was tipped to get to number one, but sales dropped in the last 2 days, which was a shame and it only made number 3. AALY was never going to do well in the UK. Fans like a good hard rock song, thats why i badly wanted Bounce to be released.

Seriously, you guys from the U.K. saying that AALY wasn't a hit here, it died a death, etc.....you are wrong! It got to number 8 - that's a top ten hit. By most bands standards that is a big hit! It got much more airplay than misunderstood - okay, so it wasn't as big a hit as Everyday but it WAS a hit!

i think many fans compared AALY to other songs that the band have released. If you compare the song to Prayer, Faith, Its My Life Always and Everyday, which were all huge hits in the UK and stayed around in the charts for some time...all about loving you was no-where near a hit. It was out of the entire top 40 after three weeks. Thats NOT a hit.

It depends which songs you're comparing it to.

From the past two albums, the band has released two types of songs in the UK:

Rock (It's My Life/One Wild Night, Everyday)
Ballad/Pop (Say It Isn't So, Misunderstood)
Love (Thank You For Loving Me, All About Loving You)

If we're comparing to the rock songs such as Everyday, no, it wasn't a hit. But if you compare it to the other love song, Thank You For Loving Me, I believe it did a lot better, and especially got much more airplay on the television.

I know a lot of people who heard that song, who aren't Bon Jovi fans, and were impressed with it. I'd personally class it as a 'thumbs in the middle', it didn't do anything exceptional, but it did moderately well.

It did well for being a soppy love song

Thank you for loving me IMO is a great song and I love it, i think its better than AALY, but saddly that only just got into the top 20

Ok AALY did get into the top 10, but if it was a major hit it would of stayed in the charts more than 3 weeks.

It really depends on how you look at it and what you class as a hit
