Bad idea yeah.

Cant really see the point of getting a wealthy "rock" star a normal gift like that anyway - from someone he doesnt know and never met.

I'm guessing there are appropriate procedures if you want to get something to Jon. It's probably best to contact the fan club. But then again, I know nothing.
