I just listened to Bounce in full the other day - even AALY which I otherwise always skip...

But other than that, I listen to Richard Marx all the time (surprise, surprise ) in anticipation for the new album, which I won't get until September

But new artists? No, can't say I have discovered anything new that would turn me into a die-hard fan...

Hmmm.... perhaps I'll have to go ahead and buy this and I'll send you a copy. Send me your mailing address. I was going to get it anyway.

He I am totally with you on this.
I always listen t Bon Jovi in my car, but I put on the radio to get other music. I have heard all the albums so many times...I am so into something new...not the boxset but a new album with totally new songs. I think we are all expecting too much of this boxset and will get disappointed...it`s nothing really new..it`s old stuff. We are ready to get a new album..absolutely. It`s time.!!!!!!!!!!

That’s no excuse to have any relationship with anything connected to Turkey, lets face it you’ll either get raped, have food poisoning or just end up dead, and yeah even with a CD ha! You have been warned!

And if your well into your caffeine will you come in with me and pay half towards an espresso maker?! I want!

No, it's not just you. I have been listening to other bands lately, like Disturbed and Nightwish. I rarely ever look whether there's news on the official site. Let's face it, Bon Jovi is getting old.

You know.....so am I. I need something different from the track they've been on since 2000. They need to stop trying to be "current" and just let the artistic side of themselves take over. I need something to reaffirm my faith and retrofits my connection to Bon Jovi.

For the past one or two months I've listened to next to no Bon Jovi up until last night where my appetite suddenly kicked in and really enjoyed myself. Taking a break can do that...and as it appears occured for some of you...you can also appreciate stuff that you weren't as thrilled about before. That's always been the case for me. I think it comes from just viewing something like Bounce as just part of the larger catalog with it no longer being new and "disappointing" relative to expectations for a new album. The same thing happened with Crush. I was even listening to TLFR a bit last night along with watching the DVD (which I feel is really all they needed to do, with the album just being a prep for the live performance. What if they released a studio album version of the songs as performed on "An Evening with" back then?)

But still....a 3rd album in a row that has a contrived and calculated marketing approach can seriously put me off to Bon Jovi as they have always moved along in their past and gone through cycles. We need something in the vein of Keep The Faith...a true artistic rebirth of Bon Jovi. TLFR, for all it's panning, was actually an indication that they ARE going in that direction, all we need now is for the entire band to come together in the process, not just Richie and Jon and channel that into new music, rock and roll.

So the fact that things are winding down with the band with no news announced for anything on the horizon regarding a new album...is actually a good thing right now I think. I've been saying they need to take a break before they continue in order to take some time to breathe and evolve. They definately seem to be doing exactly that. So I am hopeful for the next studio album...whenever they get around to it. Though due to the disappointment of Bounce not being the artistic album in the wake of 9/11 that I had expected...I'll not let myself get as hyped this time...while hoping for the best.
