They may as well do that with the lack of new material in set lists.

I like when Bon Jovi release new material, though. Still get a buzz going to the shop to buy the CD and get home to listen to it.

Yes, because everybody, including the band, seems to have lost interest in their records. This is the only way to explain the uninspired stuff that has been released in recent years.

So, if they really want to make a record they actually care about, please go ahead. If they don't, please stop.

I'd like to think as they get older, they get wiser and realize that the big hit they/Jon chase(s) is not gonna happen, and they can focus on more artistic content.

Of course, this is contingent on Richie coming back.

If there was a choice, I'd rather they become a band who makes good albums and doesn't tour rather than a band who has good tours and doesn't make albums.
You are absolutely right, but for a really good new album to come out they have to;

1. Take their time, including 3 years plus of time off and not trying to write hits

2. Use a producer with a track record of proper successful, excellently produced albums. I vote for Rick Ruben.

3. Let Richie let loose with guitar work and why not have him on lead vocals in some bridges, like on Something For the Pain. He doesn't have to take the lead for an entire song like Joe Perry often does with Aerosmith (although it would be nice), but give him some airtime. Even Dave should get more vocal work.

Are all housewives fat? Most women work - how does that make them housewives in the first place? And just because you are a woman does that mean you don't like music?

You are a sadly misinformed man. If women buy albums that makes us just as much a target as men buying albums doesn't it. So why is it a problem if Jon sells albums to women - is our money not "good enough"

Yikes and you're only in your 30s. Awfully young to have such hatred and disrespect for women in general.

No. I'm not a fan of What About Now, but I'd like another record.

The albums might not be as good as the past but there are still some decent songs from the past few albums.

Why should they stop anyway? The real question is, should YOU stop buying the albums?

If it meant more varied set lists then i'd be tempted to say yes but half of WAN is decent.

I'm With You, Water, Whats Left, Beautiful World are all good - hell I even still tap along to BWC.

The mad scramble during my lunch break on day of release to find a shop selling the Deluxe/Limited/Special edition rather than just the standard copy. Putting it on in the car and taking the long route home. I'd miss that too much.

I've on the most part enjoyed the post-HAND albums and have less gripes than some do- that's not to say I can't see room for improvement, and the way I feel about the band in general at the minute I may find myself a little less forgiving with future releases.

I still think they have another GREAT album in them though. A change of producer is needed, and probably a shake up of all the behind-the-scenes personnel. Obviously a Jon & Richie combo working in harmony, but also get David involved more in the writing. Ditch the usual co-writers too, work with new faces.

I really like TC and WAN, I think they´re superior to anything they´ve done past 2000. WAN is still on my all time top 4 Bon Jovi album list. And this is coming from the mouth of someone who´s followed the band since the days of SWW.

The way I see it, there really is no Bon Jovi without new music and ongoing touring to support it (even if only a minority of new tracks get played).
