From Boston Herald:

Whoopi Goldberg and Michael Moore didn't make the list - but a raft of musical talent will entertain delegates at next week's Democratic National Convention.

The DNC announced yesterday that John Mellencamp, Willie Nelson, Patti LaBelle, the Black Eyed Peas and Wyclef Jean will sing during the four-night convention.

Mellencamp has been a favorite of vice presidential hopeful John Edwards on the campaign trail.

Other performers will include singer Carole King, who has headlined fund-raisers for Sen. John F. Kerry throughout the country.

Bigger acts, including the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Bon Jovi, will play private clubs around Boston.

I don't believe that Bon Jovi are there though, maybe Jon Bon Jovi
