The bigger issue is who is going to trust them to buy a ticket? Two tours and two times Richie bailed. I drove 8 hours to see them last tour and while I enjoyed it I did not get to see the 4 Bon Jovi members doing accoustical in front. Phil X did a great job and it was a good time.

This year they are in my hometown - 10 minutes away and I did not go? Why. Jon's politics piss me off. He spent over a million dollars of my tax money to fly from NJ to NY with Obama yet he wants my taxes raised. He bleeds people dry to get a good ticket with upsell but then plays he is a working man. Him and his white microphone stand can kiss my Libertarian behind.

But also I did not trust that Richie would be there - so I stayed home. And honestly after yet another time of him bailing I don't care to even think about it.

Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice shame on me.

Instead I will fly up to NY and go see Dave's plays.

You make really good money then since proposed tax hikes would be for those making in excess of $250K. And I'm talking INCOME tax not PAYROLL tax which has reverted to the same rate it was in the Bush and Clinton years.

Other than the politics stuff, I can understand you not wanting to spend a ticket to possibly see only 3 of the original members.

Because it is not Bon Jovi. Its Jon, Tico, David and friends. Sambora is the soul & heartbeat of the band. Its like ordering a fillet stake from a restaurant that you spend a lot of money on and a half eaten crappy bit of rump turns up on your plate. Bollocks to them

No actually I do not make $250K I just know every step down the ladder is closer to ME and I feel the government takes too much (Libertarian!!!!). And I do not begrudge HIS politics until he hops a ride on Air Force one to the tune of over a million dollars. That pisses me off. I just have no interest in Jon fleecing me to see what I already saw. And now I am so glad because while I enjoyed Phil X - been there done that.

Actually I am a David Bryan fan more than anything. I will go see his plays. But without Richie it is not Bon Jovi, same as if Tico or Dave were missing FOR ME.

And yes Alec is gone I know so I am a bit of a hypocrit I guess but he is gone GONE not MIA.

Still 3/4 of Bon Jovi...yes, I want Richie there but still will go to see the other founding members of the band. Tico is my favorite so if he bails then all bets are off, lol!

Yes it is the end. Jon has now transformed into a super-Satan and fired the Archangel Sambora.

The end is nigh.

Don't write something like that, because than some disturbed Christian might kill Jon .
Oh and I also think that Tico is the man (he seems to be the only only one with a balanced ego)

I'm not a fan of Jon's politics either. I try to stay centralist and moderate in my politics, but what bothers me is that I've never heard him speak about an issue he's passionate about, he just supports the Democratic Party. To me, that just comes across as someone that wants in politics because they are power hungry, and that is just worse type of politician IMO.

But then again, he hasn't actually run for office yet, so I'll reserve my judgment until he does and actually starts talking about position on the issues, and I think you should too, after all there are several Democratic members of the tea party. You never know.

Also, tax payers didn't pay for Jon's trip, that was paid for by the Obama reelection campaign which is privately funded.
