Island Records Bon Jovi Web Site

Hey,
I'm just taking a stab in the dark here; but is anyone at all familiar with the Island Records Bon Jovi Website? I am trying to unregister from it/delete my account with them, since my registration was only partially successful (I suspect that I made a typo when re-entering to confirm password). When I try to log in, it "doesn't recognize username and/or password" enough to let me log in, but it recognizes them enough that when I try to re-register with the same username, that I use everywhere (including here)- without having deleted the partially existing account first- it says that "another user already has that name" (me in this case). When I try to reregister with a new username- since I have to provide them with my only email address- they won't let me have another account, since they recognize me as already having one, by the same email address that I had to submit both times. I have sent two emails to the website describing my problem, and requesting to be unregistered from it; neither with a response, nor adhering to my request; and when I tried to contact them by phone to do the same, I learned that they, apparently, don't have a phone number. What do I do to unregister/delete my account, so that I can register again, being very careful to do it properly next time? Does it, maybe, become automatically removed after a certain number of days without use? If anyone knows, and can help me out, please do!

Sorry you are having such a dilemma. Many people had the same problems when they first switched over. It finally corrected itself and some people had to change passwords and usernames. I never log out in case I can't get back in. I wish I could help you, but I forgot what others had to do. Good luck and keep emailing them. They may finally answer you. That website does really stink now. It's not the same great site it used to be. Eileen

So this is a universal problem and not just me then, huh? Well that's good to hear. The only thing that prompted me to try to register there in the first place was the fact that Obie O'Brien hangs out there a lot. By the way, I just found their phone number on Google under Island/ Def Jam Records; something I couldn't even find on their own web site! I'll try giving them a call tomorrow... maybe the day after tomorrow, since tomorrow is Sunday. Thanks anyway, though.
