Mullets rule. The Aussie yobbo is renowned for having one as part of his attire. Along with Mokkies, a flannelet shirt, stubby shorts, a beer gut, and sometimes thongs!

Something about your theory, Anu, doesn't quite make sense. I agree that the US got much more promotion than the rest of the world, but here in the US, Bounce is barely over "gold" status. If we got so much promotion, why are the sales so low? I don't think low sales in Europe are entirely due to lack of promotion. Promotion can't increase sales by 1 or 2 million. What increases sales is WORD OF MOUTH. Tell your friends to buy it, tell your relatives. If your birthday is coming up, tell everyone that you want a Bounce CD! :P If your friend's birthday is coming up, get THEM a Bounce CD!

I think word of mouth might have actually been the problem, I mean let's face it, it's not been the most poular album amongst the fans, therefore that may have triggered less people to buy it. Then again, the "new" fans that Crush created may be the pivotal point, Bon Jovi mania might have ended as soon as the Crush buzz died down, or maybe they like it.

In my PERSONAL opinion, Crush was a weak album that was led by a very, VERY strong debut single. It's My Life is STILL a huge song even today. You can hear it in the background of all VH1's specials and it's even still played on pop radio. Maybe what happened was when those people bought Crush hoping it would be full of songs like IML, they were disappointed. These people, who were probably not BJ fans, probably weren't impressed by Everyday and weren't as impressionable as to buy Bounce and hope the rest of the songs are better than that single. However, I think people WOULD be surprised if they actually listened to Bounce- it's MUCH better than Crush (IMO). It has many strong songs that are worthy of being singles. Maybe they just didn't choose the right singles. Who knows.

I need a picture of that. Sounds like a rare, endangered species.
