how exactly does one dress rock? I didn't think it could get more rock than a t-shirt and jeans or leather. And why would dressing rock have anything to do with good looks or attractiveness. Besides, I think a suit can look mighty hot on both women and men and leather can be downright disgusting on the wrong person.
I'll answer this actually... it gets much more rock than a BJ Tour t-shirt and jeans... that is basically quite a fashionable thing to wear.

I'm no woman, but I know certainly that the type of women I consider to be more rock, and ATTRACTIVE in a rock context (maybe on the street not so much, but laura is talking at a concert) are the girls who wear the clothes that are somewhat mysterious, and are not just casual wear.

If you or your friends went to a rock concert I was at wearing a suit I'd spend half the show thinking how out of place you were, and I'm sure some people who'd had a few drinks would tell you to **** off to the Opera or somewhere like that.

what makes you think that ? I used to be a model so did some other people on here.

I think the weirdest thing about women Jovi fans at concerts is some of them still have really big 80s hair + wear these weird 80s Heart band gloves ,plastered with 3 layers of make up. Now thats frightening.

Why is it weird or frightening that some of us like to dress like that?
I personally think that jeans and t-shirt are boring but I wouldn't dream of insulting someone for dressing like that!

Btw, as for the fans being ugly, that's ridiculous. Just go to Lunasrose's site and you will see for yourselves.

not sure if miniskirt and bratop qualifies as somewhat mysterious (That was a joke! I realize you qualified your statement with ATTRACTIVE rock girls. :P)

Thanks I just have no idea of how one dresses rock. I now see what you are saying though.

However, and this is not directed to anyone individual, I always thought those girls that come all made up and trying to achieve a certain look were rather annoying wanna be groupie chicks. Not particularly into the music. And girls that dressed "normal" (though in no way sloppy or sleazy) were thought of much better as they seemed to be there for the music NOT the guys. :P But then, that is based on my experience only and the guys I used to go to concerts with - which are all about the music and they certainly don't analyze the audience as to how pretty the people are.

As far as the suit reference. I would go to any concert in a suit - without hesitation. If other people think I was out of place - it's their problem. I certainly wouldn't waste a thought on it. However, a suit wouldn't be the attire of choice when going to a concert (well with the exception of some - ie. Pearl Jam did a benefits concert in a symphony hall and most people were dressed in evening attire) - however, being that I used to work downtown in a "suit job", I was given tickets to a concert that night and there was certainly not enough time for me to go home and change. I stopped at a store and bought jeans - only because I didn't want anybody spill beer on my designer suit. Not because I would have felt out of place or anything. I am there to enjoy the music - not to impress anyone.

Not sure if this is the same in Europe, but over here you see the most diverse crowd in any concert it is almost better to people watch than to see the show :P .

Agreed. I met few beautiful girls during last tour (and Laura is one of them )

About men - I like sports fans more.
