But we recorded ”it only takes one to say goodbye” written by jon, richie and Richie supa.
I’m also a big fan of Bon Jovi, maybe a little bit more when i was younger.
We got a demo of ”IOTOTSG”....
Jon and riche was recording it live in the studio.
That was really cool to hear, and we was the only kids in world who had that demo at that point.
Anything more you wanna know??"

Thanks , so.... Jimmy has the original Demo???

Yep, but I don't think we'll have any luck with him leaking that:
"But i can’t release that song, i dont wanna risk anything.
Even if he’s (Jon) ok with that there’s labels and other people that could put me in trouble.
So, i think it have to stay in my ”secret box” for now!:/
Im sorry!"

Did they use any of the original tracks (guitar, drums...)? That opening lick is 100% Sambora; I wonder if that's his original playing.

Thanks for the informations .
For me at this point after 16 years the risk with the label or with Jon is minimum, for example "Burn With Me" is appeared on internet in 2016 and nobody it was incriminated.....

I've always thought that it was a note for note recreation of the original demo. Everything about the note selection sounds pure BJ filler. It fits well in the pre 9/11 Bounce material even more so after hearing Mona Lisa.

Like just imagine the type of rushed album we would have gotten without the 9/11 songs.

I think that with or without the 9/11 songs Bounce it would have been the same a fantastic album..... , the 9/11 songs they increase the value obviously, but Mona Lisa and One to Say Goodbye they would have been the cherry on the cake.

I think if it was an album of song like Mona Lisa, One to Say Goodbye, Misunderstood, Right side of Wrong, Joey etc it would have really shown the album was rushed to get new product out. The time period between the OWN tour ending and work on the album starting felt pretty short. Man, can't believe how long ago that was.

Yeah if i'm not wrong the writing precess of the album started in August 2001 immediately after the OWN tour….. and also the idea of the Box set is born in that period 2001/2002..... , a lot of work, in short

I'm not so sure the band was really that involved in the box set until the very end. I looked into it a little, the demo stage was at the studio and Luke's house so it might not have been until early 2002 everyone was there with the songs they wrote.

I remember being SO excited when I saw the box set track listing and the day the 30 second samples went up on Walmarts website.

My little quote got printed in the booklet.
My contact at Universal International when I worked there sent it in directly for me!
