Default It's My Life- Most Successful Single Ever?

I was the timeline section on BonJovi.com where it says "It's My Life" is the most successful Bon Jovi single ever. How is that? I am just curious, because I don't really understand what that means. Sure, I love the song, but what exactly defines it as the "most successful single?"

Take Care,
Norm

Well, I think they say itīs their most successful single ever, because IML sold millions of copies worldwide. Iīm not quite sure, but I think not even Always sold as my singles. Itīs my Life was the most selling song of the year 2000 all over Europe. So I think they define successful by the number of sales.

Yes, it was there biggest commercial success, meaning they sold most copies of a single ever.

I've read this too but not on bj.com, don't remember where tho. It was said that IML sold more copies than any other BJ single. BUT. In the 80s people didn't buy singles as much as nowadays so it's kinda hard to compare the success of IML and Prayer, for example. But if we are only talking about sales, IML is the most successful Bon Jovi single.

Here in Australia, It's My Life was amazing hanging in the top 10 for three months straight. It never took top spot, but was a massive track nonetheless.

Especially impressive when you consider the rest of the top ten was hip-hop and dance.

Yeah It's My Life is great. It was the song that attracted me to Bon Jovi. I liked it on the first listen which is very rare for me, and I still like it very much to this day, which is also rare. I tend to find that the few songs like like straight away I get bored of quickly, such as Rosie by Richie. However, most songs seem to take a while to grow on me.
