I agree but it is possible to learn perfect-pitch if you train your ears - I have. If you hear a particular note enough times you can build up a mental fretboard/keyboard/whatever to navigate to other notes from the reference note. I use the intro to 'Always' cos it quite handily starts on an 'E' and the drum intro builds to it nicely so that it makes the actual pitch easy to remember.

Rune, since you’ve done extensive musical theory study you know there actually is a discipline called “ear training” ask a musician, music teacher or use google or something man… work it out. Of course it takes time to learn to hear the notes if you do not posses perfect pitch already… that’s why it’s called “training”.

Plenty to say… but a bit of a waste of time when you’re not exactly grasping it and I’m having to repeat myself. I’ll save my breath because you are either being really slow or obtuse. Either way I’m not remotely arsed.

I don't have my full catalog here right now, but at least in 1989 they've already tuned down. And since many of the early bootlegs are/were on tape, it's hard to tell the right key. I've got some on CD that are semitone higer than normal and some a semitone lower. It all depends on the speed the tape is playing.

Anyway, they've tuned down for a long, long time. Like most bands do.
