I want a GOOD album. no andreas carllson, no more "everyday", no more "stupid-nosenselyrics songs". Bon Jovi are killing their music (see This Left feels right". Its time to do a good album.

Of course I will listen to other bands
Of course I will listen to the Bon Jovi songs I like

And of course I can do what i want with BJ. they arent my gods. I´m not a backstager
Oh please, they can't KILL their music. TLFR was an experiement, not a replacement. You still have the old albums to listen to. Sounds to me like you're bitter that you didn't get a brand new album this past fall. I say TLFR was better than forcing brand new music out of them in such a short amount of time.

Please, I´m only 20, so...

More modern songs?

That´s not the problem. It´s not modern, its easy, easy lyrics, easy songs. I can say "These Days is a great album". Even the people that dont like Bon Jovi can accept that. But you cant defend Bounce, for example.
"I´m gonna live my life, everyday" with Jon in the videoclip showing us his teeths...ARF!

Where is Tico in Bounce?

Oh, they have a rocker in the bass! Yeah yeah

"Spread these wings and fly" --------------> In X by Def Leppard you have the same phrase

"Everyday" --------------> oh, surprise, a song called "Everyday" in X.

Swedish pop producers in both albums.

Its not modern, its bad. Jon doesnt try to do good music, he is here "for the business".

They had respect with a mature album like these days. They are older and they are releasing easy songs like Everyday, All about loving you...

They are killing their past, and they are nobody without their past.

2 grammy nominations as "better pop song" (and now someone will say me that pop is popular and bla bla bla

come on, attack me

I agree Andreas Carlsson sucks, Patrick Leonard too....

The problem is that they need a new record company and good producers!!!! (I'd vote for Bob Rock, the Fairbarn's pupil)

Everyday is a good song, tough, but it needed to be better produced, and even it shouldn't be a single, the Bounce singles to make of this a good recoud should be:

1st. Undivided
2nd. The Distance (worldwide)/ Hook me up (US)
3rd. Bounce
4th. Standing (seriously this song should be on the album instead "Open all night")

Yeah. Life sucks. Deal with it.

One cannot kill one's past if it was truely great. The Stones and Aerosmith are the best example of that.

If one can kill one's past, the past wasn't that great in the first place.

by saying "older fans" I wasn't making any refference to age...I meant fans that like them because of slippery when wet for example

God, I hate these so-called "discussions". These freaking NEVER ENDING debates over whether or not it's time for the boys to pack it in and call it a night. How many times do we have to endure the SAME damn responses to the SAME damn topic?

We all have our opinons and guess what? Nobody is right and nobody is wrong. Some people prefer the newer stuff, some prefer the older. Some people think the time has come for them to retire and some of us think they should keep going.

Newsflash: THIS HAS ALL BEEN SAID BEFORE!!!! 6000 FREAKING TIMES!!!!

For the love of God, GIVE IT A REST!

If you don't like what the band is doing now, then don't buy the new stuff and don't go to the concerts. Pop in SWW (or whatever era you prefer) and enjoy those and let those of us who do like the new stuff enjoy it in peace. What annoys me is starting a thread and wording it in a way that you know is going to upset some people. You can voice your opinion without adding the words "time to retire".

KTF!

Patrick does not suck, you all make it look like Patrick is responsable for TLFR. He did a good job on other albums like Bryan Adams' MTV unplugged for example.

Richie said he didn't enjoy working with Bob Rock that much during KTF.

Wouldn't have made sense in the rest of the world, only Americans can really relate to it I guess.

Yes. So everyone can say what a terrible Creed replica it is.

Hook me up (US)
It doesn't matter if you release a big rock song in the US, it won't work anyway. Bounce was released there, but nobody knows it.

3rd. Bounce
This should have been the first single.

Seriously, this is Dig In from Lenny Kravitz.

Salaam Aleikum,

Non, surely you're old enough to just not read something you don't like? Don't you think it's a little sad to post on a topic objecting to it's existance because you've read one like that before!

So we should cut the board in two should we, oldies on one side and newies on the other... and never let either side intermingle! If you don't like what you read then fine, but dont start telling people what they can and can't post on the band. It's a serious discussion (as opposed to all those this song v this song e.t.c.) and has sparked a fairly interesting debate. I get pretty upset when people talk about Bon Jovi concerts such as the Old Trafford one as being amazing, should I then tell them to stop posting because they're actively upsetting people who have a different opinion?

blablablabla

stop using the old "real fan" argument to "dress up" BJ's recent shortcoming musically. these guys earn millions and millions, and people refuse to be critical about their recent dodgy material purely on the basis of "sticking with them through thick and thin", how sad
