In reply - if he were getting bad press and people voted with their feet I think you would be surprised what he would do ........

I do think this is being a little unfair to Jon, considering that in 2008 he was pretty much giving his best vocals for 7-12 years (depending on who you ask) ...

Exactly. It's obvious that he's not going to go back to sing in the same way that he did in the 90's, but he was giving great vocal performances on the LH tour.

Am I right or do I confuse?

the lower the intonation, the thicker the strings need to be (something we call the strings' gauge)

JUST FIGURED OUT WHAT HAPPENED!!! the person we see at the shows isn't jon. Jon's dead. you can clearly see the messages on the latest album covers.
:drum roll: ah ah ah

now seriously, hasn't anyone ask him about his vocal problems in an interview ? maybe that's something he refuses to talk about and 'warns' the interviewer in advance.

Livin' in Sin is dropped a whole ton too. I didn't even notice that until now. Anyone know how long it's been like that for?

Yes either that or the the interviewers are not really aware of the problem since they aren't fans.

I really want to know exactly what's going on. For sure it's not just aging and it may not even be just smoking. Would love to know from him what the problem is.

I think that it's something the fans should ask from him directly, if there is any forum to do that...

Any official forum, that is anything put on by the band, would delete it instantly. Backstage would be your best bet and it wouldn't last 10 minutes over there.

End of the day people have to pay good money (their choice I know!) to see Bon Jovi live and I believe fans should see and hear Jon at his absolute physical best ( he can't help illness etc). Would you go and watch an athlete who didn't train and did n't look after himself? -
True there was improvement on the Lost Highways tour - whether he cut down the fags or just regular singing strengthen the vocal cords somewhat I don't know - still lack of power and control and a real high range .... - After the tour I guess in downtime while writing the new album less vocal exercise and smoking made what you hear on the new album ......
You know although I would love to hear the high register it's not really about that for me - it's his vocal sound and control and going for mid/high ranges.
I'm a huge huge fan but I'm sorry there's no excuse for smoking. His life is his and most things in his life we should not intrued in but on this issue for a very clever biz man he is plain stupid ....
