I think Jon would make a great Idol judge and he would be stupid to turn down that gig.
That could be the best promotion for his new album and it could be HUGE for his career too. Look what it did for JLo. He could definitely attract a new generation of fans.
He could make more money sitting in that chair then running around a stage for the next year.
The only reason why he had to turn it down is because of his obligations towards the band and his crew.
He’d definitely be the positive criticism type of judge but who cares.
