This is exactly how I feel about him The first time I listened to Blaze... it put me to sleep... except for Santa Fe, which is the only track that got my attention the first time. I put it away for months and then I listened to it again and I like it more now. Another one of my favorite tracks is Miracle... but one track that I'm starting to dislike more and more is Blaze of Glory The lyrics are brilliant, but I just don't care for the song itself, and I'd really rather not hear it live. But Jon is a brilliant songwriter in general, completely underrated.

And some of my favorites from Destination are QONO, Janie, Little City, and August 7th 4:15. As for the Powerstation record... I bought the bonus record that was released in Spain but I seriously haven't listened to it in a year Maybe I should pop that in my CD player tonight.

Yeah, I totally had forgotten about the PowerStation Years...
I love Miracle and Santa Fe in the slow songs. The lyrics for Ugly are amazing as lot of you pointed out...and for the fast song I think that the power station year has really good one like, some said, talking in your sleep, that one's amazing! Conclusion, yeah, Jon can do some good stuff on his own!

Gotta chime in here.

Sante Fe is probably my favorite lyrically just because I was so into the whole Billy The Kid thing. To this day, I'll still believe that he got away. Some of us just need to believe that he didn't die.

Destination is probably my favorite to listen to. It's just so damn good. "I've got my coat and my keys; I need you next to me then I'm gone......Come Onnnnnnn".

Ya Santa Fe Jon has said is his favourite song he wrote and id have to agree(because its Jon obviously ) but that whole album was a masterpiece and cant believe it lost out on an academy award because of the little mermaid??
Blaze... showed Jons true potential as a songwriter as it differed totally to albums like slippery and jersey,im sure Jon still has that talent in their somewhere??
