Hey, finally not a one word title. Let's see what's happaning.
You have abolutely no idea what it sounds like. How can you judge a song on the title?
It sounds sarcastic to me. I like it.

Anyone remembers Strum As You Are though? Jon also announced that would be the title for TLFR in a newsletter

Yes, though I'm actually more happy with it as a song title. It is very much a Bon Jovi album title, too. It almost seems to have a These Days like quality to it....though that's jumping the gun seeing as we haven't heard it and it could be a happy song...but based on the album description..it comes off more like it's going to be sarcastic....as in "Jobs are being lost, poverty is going up, the deficit is out of control, the President is raping the planet...Have a nice day."

I liked the title the first time it was mentioned in another thread...though it wasn't clear if it was pulled out of someone's *ss or the real deal.

What I meant to say is, its doesn't mean it's going to be called that, Jon said TLFR was going to be called Strum As You Are. So he may have thoguht of it while writing the newsletter or been joking or whatever. Or the record company not like it... Many things can happen to stop it from being called Have a Nice Day.

Not that I have anything in favour or against it, just pointing out that Jon's word is not 100% reliable.

Im pretty sure that title will be sarcastic..
I'd much prefer that to be the title of the new album than Rush, Splash, Stretch, Squash Smash etc. They should pick something that is more than one word this time.

It just reminds me of Roxette... and THAT is a pop album. I didn't judge the song - because I have absolutely no idea what it sounds like.

I won't have sleepless nights with this (how could I?) - they can change the title 14 times until it comes out. It's not written in stone. I just don't like it. I didn't like BOUNCE at first, now it's more than ok. So I know that I would get used to the title once it's official. I know I will get used to 100,000,000 BJ Fans can't be wrong - still, the title could have been better... So, there could be 100,000,000 better titles than Have A Nice Day.

Let's see what happens.

Maybe they'll call the album "Groupies: A User's Guide"
