And now that the thing has hit the fan, he comes out with a completely fabricated and scripted “interview” saying that he had surgery and if he can’t do it the proper way, he’s out. Well, he hasn’t been doing it the proper way for over 13 years now, and yet charged obscene amounts of money for people to see him singing like a strangled cat in heat. He milked every dime out of it, and once again seems to be doing the same.
So yes, I feel for him for losing his work tool, it must be tough. But letÂ’s not pretend he didnÂ’t know what was happening or about to happen and still milked the fans for every penny.

There are a couple of different ways to slice the "I feel sorry for Jon"
Do I feel sorry for a world-famous guy who is worth at least half a billion with a perfect family? Absolutely Not
But if I just focus on the musical standpoint, then yes. His voice went through 2 stages. Failure to hit notes 2017-2018 and then failure to sing 2020-2021.
Any artist who loses their craft before their time is sad. Blaming Jon for overturning is like blaming Tom Brady for playing too many football games. It's what they are born to do. The combination of Hard Work, Natural Talent, & Luck will bring 1% of the population to the top and when they lose that, I feel bad for them in that regard.
I feel very comfortable with Jon's performance of Who Says. Sure it wasn't perfect but it showed me that he's capable of doing some type of run. I think when Jon initially filmed "Thank You, Goodnight", he really thought this was the end and now I think he's surprised himself.
