Jon Bon Jovi prevents a woman from committing suicide on a Nashville bridge. The police in that city have published the video from the security cameras in which the woman is seen on the other side of the bridge railing and how the singer, who was recording a music video, approaches to talk to her
A production assistant was the first to approach the woman to ask her about her intentions and shortly after Jon Bon Jovi joined the conversation, as can be seen in a video that the city police published on social networks that they have since removed.
The images show how, after a while of conversation, between the producer and the singer they help the woman to return to the other side of the railing. When she is safe, she embraces Jon Bon Jovi.
The local newspaper The Tennessean explains that the singer was recording the music video for his latest single, The People's House, on that bridge but that at no time had that access been closed to the public. In fact, in the video you can see passers-by, even on bicycles, while talking to the woman.
The police have confirmed that the rescued woman was distressed and have thanked the singer and his team for their quick action to avoid what could have ended in tragedy: "We all need to help keep each other safe," said Police Chief John Drake.
So far, Jon Bon Jovi has not made any public statement about the incident.
