In a way I don't blame Backstage, the same way I don't blame the scalpers on ebay. In the end they're business people in the business of making money and if there are people out there silly enough to pay these prices they'll keep doing it and keep increasing prices all the time.

I'd ove to think that somebody over at backstage would start a petition for every member to refuse to apply for events such as these with extortionate prices. The people who pay these prices are paving the way for them to not only continue to charge these prices but are encouraging them to keep charging more and more. Take a stand and say NO!

I agree but they never allow it. The problem is many members feel grateful for any events taking place and are so blinkered they dont care how much it costs. I read a very constructive post over there complaining about the price of the o2 event and it was deleted straight away

Backstage with Jon Bon Jovi in all it's glory. It's seriously like some online facist dictatorship over them. No bad word can be uttered at all, and I presume the board police led by Mary-what-a-cunt-Beth is still going strong? If only we could stage some sort of coup. I'd have TheseDays2005 running things over there. Oh how it would change.

I know at least 2 threads regarding the event have already been deleted.

My guess is that the Japanese fans will pay the money but what a rip off!!

I had been waiting for this event to be announced but no way would I pay that sort of money - if there was a show I would be tempted but not for a Q&A and a photo.

I think they are making the figures up out of thin air - nothing adds up.
Maybe jon is taking a cut for his apperance

I'd love for this event to be empty, it would teach those bastards a lesson.

No human being should charge that much for answering a few questions and taking a few pictures with the fans who gave him everything he has. Though maybe it all has to do with the fanclub and Jon doesn't have anything to do with those prices (which I doubt), if that's the case then It's his name getting ****ed over, he should clear it.

BOICOT THIS SHIT BOICOT IT!!!!!!!!

Actually Marybeth has been banned. And negative stuff gets posted about the band, Jon, the new record. Those threads stay. Negative stuff about the fanclub does get deleted, lol!

I got the feeling that Matt is trying out how far he can go. Each event becomes more expensive exept of Vegas which still is more expensive than Japan but I think it incl. hotel but I'm not sure.

First I didn't wonder too much about the price, the fanclub always was overpriced and I thought Japan is a very expensive country. But people told me now that this wouldn't be true, England, i.e. London, would be even more expensive than Japan. So I can't relate to the price.

Hmmm another thread has now been deleted regarding the Japan event - which means there isnt even one thread about it now lol

I shouldnt let it frustrate me cause I doubt anything is going to change.

I just hope concert tickets arent going to be mega expensive ... I doubt I will be doing any events at these prices, Id rather see more shows.

Japan is expensive I dont really know about comparisons to the UK.

I can imagine they are making a huge profit.

If they sell 200 tickets thats $190000 - taking into account hiring the hard rock, paying staff, travel expenses etc I presume they are making a decent profit.

Compared to the 02 event and vegas it makes them look cheap.
Both of these actually include a show - I dont even think 02 is too far overpriced, its not cheap but I thought it was OK. Vegas I thought was a great price - 2 nights hotel, concert tickets, dinner etc.
With these 2 I can at least see where a lot of the money is going especially with Vegas.

All the Japan event is a Q&A session and a group photo.
