I really miss Mrs.B’s era since she and her staff were on our side, true BJ fan side….She ran the fanclub for the band and their fans in a family friendly way. Matt is a Bongiovi family member, but his way of running the fanclub is the same as e-Bay or scalpers or ticket brokers. Jon has been trying to not ridiculously increase the price of BJ concert tickets keeping them affordable for regular people while the prices of tickets for such as Madonna, Rolling Stones are getting too expensive. It’s pity that Matt doesn’t understand Jon’s thoughts towards his fans….

I don't see any difference. The fanclub events/trips always were very overpriced and it always was a way to make money. First for Mrs. B., now for Matt. Nothing changed.

I guess we only recognize it more now because they do international events now. And this is what the members always wanted.

Japan is not that expensive anymore. That is 20 years ago, Japanese Yen was 80 to 1 Us dollar. Menu in HRC Tokyo are similar to HRC in NYC or any other countries. For the price of sandwiches are approx $10. Additionally, consumer tax in Japan is 5 percent, so tax is much less than NYC or UK. Besides, you don't have to pay for tips because we don't have such a tip system in Japan.
Japan is relatively expensive compared with other Asian countries, but compared with UK or US, all most all of things are equal or less price because nowadays Japanese Yen is around120 to 1 Us dollar, which has dropped to around 40 Japanese Yen from 20 years ago.
Here is another example: For HAND Japan tour, a concert ticket for BON JOVI is approx 9,000 Japanese Yen (i.e. $75). It is a bit pricey for average Japanese concert ticket of 6,500 Japanese Yen (i.e. $54.17). BUT, it's STILL cheaper than tickets for the seats in fan club area in US or UK.
This is the fact. Japan is no longer such an extremely rich country like Switzerland.
Backstage posted the thread of "the cost of the event" for explanation why Tokyo HRC FC event was $950.
Japanese Yen is much stronger than US dollar? That's NOT true! You can eat out at restaurant within $9 (you No need to pay tip).
So, we, many Japanese BJ fans emailed Backstage staff to ask why London HRC FC event was $300 and Tokyo HRC FC event was triple of $300 plus $50 despite UK Pound/Euro is much stronger than Japanese Yen or US dollar, because all of the treads regarding Tokyo HRC FC event were deleted for complaining about the fanclub or mentioning this fact.

I just want you to know that there are crazy fans in Japan who loan money beyond their levels of living and ended up to divorce or hold huge debt. Also, if Backstage did not announce the number of people for Tokyo event would be limited to150, they can not sell out.

Many of Japanese fans have supported from the band’s debut. So there are tens of thousands of BJ fans in Japan and crazy fans who don’t know their limits and loan money beyond their levels of living and ended up to divorce or hold huge debt in Japan, but $950 is NO affordable price even for such crazy fans. But, after Backstage announced that they keep 150 people to the Tokyo event, somebody posted “This will be the first and the last event in Japan. The number of people for the event is limited to 150” on a couple of popular Japanese BJ fan sites. Then, the tickets to the event had been sold out when 25 hours or so had passed from the starting time of selling tickets. That is why only 150 tickets had not been quickly sold out.

This is weird. We had asked Backstage about how many people there would be joining the event, but they wouldn’t have answered exact number of people for the event. But, they announced 150 after a couple hours passed from the starting time of selling tickets.
So we thought that Backstage really wanted to sell tickets at least 150.

I just want you to know that we posted their responses on the Japanese BJ fan sites so I and many Japanese BJ fans know this fact and how rude Backstage responded to our emails. Matt is ripping off from true BJ fans….I miss Mrs.B so much….
I have several friends in japan and I lived there so i know what it is like and I know that what you say is totally true I also heard about the fans emailing the fan club and getting extremely rude answeres from backstage and I think it's a shame

Chris you say the price is like usual .. hmmm i think it's not true but that doesn't make me not going to the uk event or think it was better with mrs B I think it changed with mrs B last years in the fc as well this is why ... the latest mrs b trip and event were extremely over priced too .... europeans are enjoying those new opportunities yes but if it was like the HRC roppongi then YES i would say it changed big time between mrs b and now

I am doing the UK event because it is still possible as a show is included ..I think the HRC in tokyo is very different ...incredible they dared to do this at such a price and annonce it is because the dollar is weak compare to the yen ... this is so not true they lose their credibility 100%
