Again I hate famous people who are doing charity not only for the good-cause but only for their own commercial benefit. Of course the money is appreciated but even tho its millions euries it still means less to me then anybody on this board donating say EUR 100 anonymous

hi guys i'm new. i'm a massive Bon Jovi fan and reallly like U2's music as well. i think the blog is interesting. i think bonos charity work is both fake and aimless. BJ's aint so much, but i do think building 20 homes is nothing to brag about when you are sooo wealthy.

Welcome to the boards.
Both Jon and Bono have done wonderful things.
I think building 20 houses is a wonderful thing . 20 families now have a home. To those familes that home is worth much more than money. It is their "home". So what if Jon is wealthy, at least he is doing something and not just throwing money at a charity but actually getting involved.
There are lots of people who are wealthy, that do nothing to help others (think Paris Hilton as 1 example).
Jon doesn't brag (wouldn't even call it brag, just promotes) nearly as much as Bono. Most people apart from BJ fans and Philly Soul fans wouldn't even know what Jon does for charities.

That was a good read. I agree it was nice to see someone recognize JBJ for all the good he does....

(cue me on the big screen) JBJ: "How good have you been? Oh My God!" (laughs, more teasing) JBJ: "You want it huh, you want it huh? Blood on Blood just for you, the good girl in the front row? The all request hour, the girl in the front row has just asked for Blood on Blood, ok, Merry Christmas young lady!" Amazing <3
