John Bongiovi- The Power Station Sessions (1980-1983)

Ive had this album for a few years now and actually quite like it. Well it has grown on me over the years. When I was first looking for it I had asked in the music stores and was told that it wasn't being released because of the court case thing. Well I just had to inform the music store that Jon had actually lost the case and that the album would be released, so there I was in the shop having a bit of argument with the shop. I kept checking for a few weeks and eventually found it and just had to let the guy that I had been arguing with serve me just to prove me point. Made me feel good though

All I have to say to Allrounda is, I'm happy for you that you found this album. You were happy that you found it, so enjoy it!!!!!!! I would have been just as excited, whether the album was good or not!!

After a two year long search I found three different copies on tuesday and I wouldn't say that everything on it is crap. I really like stringin' a line and hollywood dreams.

I have seen that CD over here in the UK's HMV. I didn't buy it because it was expensive, but I found a different Powerstaion Years CD when I was looking at a later date for a bargain £5. It's not bad a bad album, with some good songs, although Jon sounds a bit like a girl. The songs I like off it are, "More than we bargained for", "Stringin a Line", "Charlene", and one or two more. There is also a musical version of Runaway on it.

As you may already know he recoreded around 50 demos between '80 and '83, which probably means there is around 3 Powerstaion years CDs. The only song to make the grade though was of course Runaway.

1. It's not really an album.

2. It is RARE in the U.S... (Bon Jovi country..tee-hee)...and I never found it.. So I had to order it off of the internet.

I've got it about 5 times - had it quite a few years now,aswell as the single from it too.

Well... OK then! I seemed to have sand kicked in my face over this post. I don't really know why I bothered. For all you people in the UK who say that you can find it anywhere you go... I am from Australia... so what you say about your record stores would be totally different from what you find here. Maybe it is rare here, if it is rare in the USA. Who knows... I was only asking the question and was looking for a mature answer, not to be attacked in the way I was.

Anyway, I still haven't had a chance to listen to it properly as I am still studying for exams.

Good or bad, expensive or cheap,...that's worth to be collected. That's a hystory of Jon Bon Jovi in early days,okay?

Like I said before allrounda, we answered your question, and all me and KRB got in reply to our opinions of this album was a load of abuse.

Don't ask us questions if you're not willing to hear what people think of it, yeesh! It's only a CD, don't get so angry with us for not liking it! You brought it on yourself.
