I don't get what Bon Jovi are doing. One hand Jon says he's so exited about ROCKIN' and on the other hand he works with a POP producer.

It doesn't start very well I must say!
It's all labels

TLFR actually IS a good record... (don't think i mean "great" with saying "good"- i mean "good" in terms of definately creative and definately better than the last sh't)

I would have been really worried if they did decide to go ahead and work with Pat Leonard on a full record because he has no rock credentials at all and the sound on TLFR was way too slick for my liking...hopefully working with Shanks will add something fresh to the sound....when Jon worked with Steve Lironi on DA, the results were damned good and he had done stuff with Hanson and Black Grape (hardly hard rocking). As long as the song writing is good, then there wont be a problem.

I wonder if they are hiring guys to cowrite songs again, like Max Martin, or even Desmond Child, or if Jon and Richie, and maybe Dave will write everything by themselves this time (which I think they should).

Yeah, it's high time that David write another song. I mean, the guy's definately got it in him, but why he choses not to is beyond me. I mean, he wrote more on Stranger in this Town than he did on SWW, NJ, KTF, TD, Crush, and BOunce compined.
