LMFAO

U taking everything dead-serious, STUPID!

Anyway to get back, songs since Crush don't have the intro, starting, chorus, middle, ending & outro anymore like for example TD, just the middle (and ok the chorus),

These Days isn't perfect. If they wrote a song called "It's Hard (Letting You Go)" today you guys would jump all over it. For every apologist Jon lover on Backstage there's two whiny, do-something-new-but-make-it-sound-old Dry County people that elevate all the early stuff way too high (because that's when you discovered them) and blindly dismiss everything from 2000 on just because it's the cool thing to do around here. HAND is a really great album that is holding up really well after all these months, and it doesn't take itself nearly as serious as TD, which is good, because...it's BON JOVI. They write stupid rock songs you can sing along to. Wer'e all arguing about Jon "lying" based on an article some kid "remembers reading". When they go to Europe they play These Days songs....because the album was popular there. Bounce wasn't popular anywhere, and they hardly play any songs from it on this tour. Quit whining.

Steve

See Ice's post.

Bridge, verse, chorus, outro OR
intro, starting, middle, ending & a outro
What's "middle" then? Chorus? Then how would that go along with...

So all the songs since Crush are just choruses?

Not to mention the songs still have bridges - the most obvious one being the one in "I Am", some songs still have extensive pre-chorus parts ("Have A Nice Day"), "Who Says You Can't Go Home" has obviously an intro, "Have A Nice Day" and "I Want To Be Loved" have outros... for Crush and Bounce, look at Bounce and It's My Life... Bounce has an intro, a pre-chorus, a bridge and an outro, It's My Life has a pre-chorus, and a bridge. Heck, even Everyday has intro, pre-chorus and bridge. I could go on for hours, but I prefer not to. You can say the songs have become simpler, but they sure don't consist only of "the middle".

Next 100 years has an intro, a middle and an outro. It's crap but it has those things!

Also for those who think These Days songs get an airing in Europe, they don't. At least not in the UK anyway, not at the shows I've been to since 2000. I just don't think any of the songs off that album made a big enough impact on the general public. I know some of the singles did ok and most went top 10 over here but they never really had a really huge song off it that lodged itself in the public consciousness. I personally love Hey God, These Days and Damned but there was no LOAP or IML on the album. I'm sure Bounce will suffer the same fate after this tour as it has the same problem.
