I just love it how people make a diagnosis of people they hardly know except for lots of replies on a messageboard. It makes them look very silly. In fact, I've got issues with such people, those people are just as pathetic as the ones who buy The Sims because Jon and Richie are in it.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
actually I think you can tell a lot about people from the messages on this board.

So what if people want to look at Sims because of Jon and Richie, I hate the game, but if someone said here look at it then I would out of curiousity. I guess this has happened with some of the football related issues , a lot of women may have never watched football before JBJ + RS took over the team and now they show an interest. So what they might learn something new and they truly might decide they like it.

A lot of people chose to try things usually because someone esle in the world is seen to be trying it first. So what .

And your above diagnosis is based on what exactly?

Little kids are whole different matter. I was talking about these people who suddenly turned into football fans etc.....
Um, excuse me, I don't mean to be rude or anything, but fourteen is not little. If one was to call a 14-year-old "little" to his/her face, the 14-year-old would smack that one upside the head.

Well 18 ain't much "bigger". So bugger off kiddo

(no offence intended)

Point is that kids do things out of joy. Not like us grown ups who tend to make an issue out of everything. For example about collecting every single item that involves something. There's nothing wrong with enjoying a silly game, but I don't understand people who say they enjoy it BECAUSE there's little bit of jovi.

Don't agree with you there. People - kids or grownups - should be able to enjoy what they want (as long as it's legal) without being put down or called pathetic. A lot of people like to collect things that make them happy. I'll buy something that is Jovi-related as long as I can afford it. I have a huge Bon Jovi collection but it's not any different than someone who collects football or hockey or Rolling Stone's memorabilia. I don't see myself running out to buy a game because Jon & Richie can be downloaded into it but if I already had the game I'd download them - so what!

I agree with Dawn -

If people try something new because of someone's involvement in it (like arena football) and decide that they like it does that make them pathetic or just happier! I'm not such a negative person so I think it makes them happier and all the power to them!

LMAO at the conversation. I play Sims, I like the game, and it's a neat perk. That's about it. The actual interaction you have with "Jon" and "Richie" in the game is very limited. All you can do is ask them for an autograph. It's not worth anyone's money to buy the game because of Bon Jovi. But cool for Arash to point it out.

Maxis, upon the release of Sims Superstar, has regularily added different celebrities to the game. They're just another couple to add to the list.

SIMS 2 SEPT 17!!! Wicked. I already quit playing the first one.
