Fifteen? And they didn't call in the Mounties? I'll bet
that had Jon changing his underwear! But if they don't want ANYONE bringing an NFL team to Toronto, shouldn't they have burned some Rogers publications and Raptors/Maple Leafs gear representing Tanenbaum, too?

The
New York Post being what it is, I preferred a second opinion:
Jon Bon Jovi reportedly no longer part of Toronto group bidding on team

According to the New York Post, the Toronto group that includes Larry Tanenbaum and Edward Rogers has cut ties with Bon Jovi.
With Bon Jovi as the principal owner, he would have to front 30 percent of the purchase according to NFL rules. His net worth sits at roughly $300 million, which would limit the ceiling of the group's bid...The two Canadian businessmen think they are in a better position to win the bid without Bon Jovi...
While Terry Pegula has plenty of money to work with and reportedly a willingness to push the bid over $1 billion, the Toronto group needs to find a way to compete financially...

Rogers alone is supposed to be worth $7 billion, more than TWICE the money that Pegula has to "work with." But because they are corporate rather than individual investors (and foreign ones at that), maybe the "Toronto Brothers"
can't own more than thirty per cent each -- which would explain their needing an American third party. But that's their problem now.
Hopefully, this marks the beginning of the end as far is Jon is concerned -- now, he can get back to work. There's at least two Bon Jovi albums left in you, so concentrate on getting your voice and your guitarist back where they ought to be!
