Jon and "the smile"

Oh good grief! If he wasn't smiling, then someone would be bitching about him being "in a bad mood." It doesn't matter what Jon does, someone is going to find a way to complain about it, no matter how innoculous it is.

I swear, I'm going to start compiling all these little Bon Jovi conspiracy theories and make my own webiste.

Do you know when I found out about Jon's fake smile I don't remember the name but they were playing a tv show (in the morning) and Jon's mic didn t work in everyday...he said it was cool blabla they re used to it...then after the break we saw Jon and he was really pissed and then he realized that the cam was on him and they HE DID THE SMILE that he always does mouhhhaha

Then I found out all those smiles was probably all feaked... ALL LIES!!

well I don't hate Jon for that he has to sell records thats his Job....so smiling is a good way to look nice....so to sell more records

Yeah so it seems like it doesnt matter what jon does, if he smiles or scratches his balls, you always seem to thinks it's cool. Doh!

Jon is in a rock band. He shouldn't smile like a teeny that wants to sell some records. I don't get this. Why do you have to agree with everything Jon does.It's pretty strange. It really is. It's absolutely obvious that he smiles for the girls. His smile is so fake that everybody knows its for sellings and rates as even Desmond Child approves.

Look at Richie or at Dave. When they smile or laugh you know it's real...they don't smile in such a gilrie way. they just laugh theur asses of. Jon does this from time to toime to(see Slippery Ultimae Album as he talks about the cars)but the smile in the end of Everyday for example is just commercial bullshit!

The poor guy is just smiling! jesus christ! i think ur just jelous cos hes gorgeous and got a lovely smile - so not hes not allowed 2 smile?? some of u are SO critizing.

Some of you REALLY have tunnel vision where I'm concerned. You seem to think I agree with everything Jon does, which only indicates that you really don't pay *that* much attention to me--which is fine, but you shouldn't thow out unfounded insults toward me when you really don't have the grounds to do so. I criticize certain songs and the entire OWN CD when the subjects are brought up. I criticize choices in performance. I also don't agree with some of the things he's said politically, but I choose not discuss MY political views, so you don't really have an idea of how much I disagree with Jon on certain issues.

I'm not the blind person you like to accuse me of being. But, you know what? Some of you could be accused of tunnel vision where Jon is concerned because it seems you critisize EVERYTHING he does. Then you think the same actions for Richie or Dave (like they never fake enthusiasm) are completely okay. For instance, if some of the things that Richie has said or done that have been posted on this board lately were said by Jon, you would have been all over them and accusing Jon of arrogance. But since it's Richie, it's okay.

So, until you look in the mirror and clear up your OWN tunnel vision, I suggest you lay off making accusations toward me which only indicate how much of a "blind" hypocrite YOU are.

People are always complaining he worries too much about his looks, etc. but, you see, everything he does or does not do is carefully examined!

Plus, I don't think it's a Jon's thing. Most artists smile even when they're not feeling like it. It's part of their job. Keep a nice, clean image.

I bolded something in your post.So you admit now Jon fakes enthusiasm(buy saying Richie and dave do) but in your first post you were like pushing us over the bridge for saying JOn has a fake SMILE....nah,nah,nah...that's not the nice way.

Then on the other hand i like you didn't mention my name in all your post.But i got the point. You think I have a tunnel view. I think Jon is a bastard. yes I do. he hasn't done anything right since he fired Alec(beside These Days and that tour). He has turned into a POP-fan, designer clothes wearing, nothing-to-do-with-rock POPSTAR. He doesn't care about fans even he pretends he does or he is an ignorant . He wants to be seen as a Bono or i don't know but much much more fashionable. I can't stand him.
Maybe that's TUNNEL VIEW.

But the band he leads is my fave band in the world. He has sometimes an amazing voce and he was definetly one of the best frontman in the world. He has written some of the best songs/lyrics ever and he was for a long time ROCK's SYMBOL number1. You really think i don't appreciate that.

And most of us are BJ fans. You seem to just overlook that it's obviouse that we recognize Jons values. We don't hate Jon and taht is something you forget.....
