Wow - He has aged immensely in the past year. It's one thing to age gracefully, but to not even care about your public appearance is something else.

Or he's always been aging and flat out stopped dying his hair.

Seriously?
First of all: He has grey hair, so what?
Secondly: People complain about Jon being so concerned about his looks all the time and his "pretty boy image". Now he looks like a normal guy and people are still complaining?
Thirdly: I have seen worse pics of him.
Fourthly: I couldn't care less.

Couldn't have said it better myself. He's 52. Big ****ing deal.

I think he looks more badass and cool with his hair like that and anyways he's 52.What he should be focused on instead of dying his hair and wearing makeup is hiring a vocal coach to recuperate what's left of his voice and bring Richie back so he can back him up cause he can't take a tour with Phil X,I mean just look how exhausted and tired his voice was by the end of the BWC tour.

First of all - So nothing. Just saying, it looks bad in my opinion.

All I'm saying is, the man has gone to extreme lengths to keep up his youthful looks all these years. It's odd that all of a sudden, he just doesn't care anymore.

This means I cared about you complaining about it, not about the actual matter.

Maybe he became a bit more relaxed concerning his looks or he just didn't care that day. I just don't see anything really horrible about the picture, honestly.

You can rest assured that having to function as an A-list world class touring band with only half a lineup is stressful -- even if only for a couple of weeks. Unlike Richie's situation, Tico's had the potential to prematurely end the tour at best and prematurely end his life at worst. And though he should have done so a LOT sooner, Richie WAS courteous enough to INFORM Jon that he wouldn't be coming back!

That's a bit of over exaggeration. He does not look like somebody that flat out doesn't care about his public appearance. He looks fit, the only thing that has changed really is the color of his hair. (which definitely does age him a lot)

Agree with JoviJovi that this comment is exaggerated. Is his hair dirty? Clothes dirty or ripped? Unshaven? The only difference is he's not coloring his hair anymore. The bald spot has been making an re-appearance after a tour is over for YEARS now.

Most will think I'm nuts with this remark but to me him now letting the grey come through for all to see is another sign (along with the "I'm retired" remarks he's made lately) that this rock band is over. (and Jon knows it) He seems to be ready to let the rock star boy toy look go.
