It's very similar to one of the slow songs...haven't listened to the album for so long that I find it hard to say which one sicne they were so interchangeable, but I guess it was either The Fighter or Not Running Anymore...

Yep! "The Fighter" wins! The first 5 or 7 first notes (the basic melody) are the same, well, that's not much, it could be incidental.

A more obvious ripp-off that I mentioned months ago but I don't remember if it was in this thread:
Big Country - King Of Emotion - 1988
https://youtu.be/7_P0s-yICcE

Bon Jovi - Because We Can
https://youtu.be/chXJFjrl-Q4

Actually, all the rockers on the WAN album including WAN are reminiscent of Big Country songs because of the E Bow (the electronic lighted device that you can see in Bobby's right hand during the live shows). That gizmo made BC's signature sound, this stuff makes guitars sound like bagpipes or violins.

Because we can reminds me of Fun's Some nights. Buts its probably just the singing in the chorus.

i dont think its mentioned all i want is everything - sign o' the times by prince...
the verses are identical and probably thats the reason why this song was only a bonus track...listen to it...i was in a bar yestaerday and princes song started playing and it hit me...
i am not one of the guys that tries to find a resemblance between every song and i realise as a musician my self that certain chords and chords progressions dont belong to anyone but this is the same...anyway nice song from prince..

Last night I was listening to some David Bowie live when it suddenly hit me!

David Bowie "Heroes" - Bon Jovi "That's What The Water Made Me"

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YYjB...=RDAsNTmjlf1vI

It's even more obvious live when Bobby B. is allotted more space to play the solo with the E-bow.

Mana - Clavado en un bar (Intro) // Have A Nce Day (Intro)

Seems Have A nice Day Intro. In 2002-2003, Jon in a promo interview spoke about Mana music. Interesting.

I don't hear this one. Where exactly in the song does it sound like Bowie? I listen to Bowie a lot and 'Heroes' is one of my favs as is 'That's What The Water Made Me' but I have never thought of them two being alike in any way.

Bon Jovi have copied some bits from Bowie in other songs, though.

Rolo, that's a good one.
