I don't agree with this at all. I've seen GnR a few times during their peak and I wasn't overly impressed at all.
I was never a big fan of the Rock & Roll cliches. Every other work is "****" or giving the middle finger. Alx also skipped lyrics during songs, you couldn't understand him during his speeches.... he was a mess. I'll never forget the GnR / Metallica show when he stormed off half way through because he said "someone threw something on stage". After that, he lost all credibility with me and a lot of people.
Steven defines rock and roll front-man. The only time I saw Aerosmith was probably around 12 years ago or so when they played with Kiss. I had high expectations for both but left rather disappointed.
Jon was the shit back in his prime. I remember seeing them in Philly around '93 and Jon jumped off the stage, into the audience, and climbed to the top to propose to a couple. It was very cool..... There are a bunch of stories that I could tell.
Jon def wins hand down. Not because I'm a fan or maybe that is another reason as to why I am a fan. Bon Jovi shows were just so awesome back in the day. Jon was and still is to an extent "the man"
