I was just amused that you found a way for Jon to be the asshole in this case.

A wedding's only as expensive as you choose to make it!!!
Note that her husband got very little acknowledgement in the whole thing.....

And here's a fan who dared to insist on kissing Dave instead of "settling" for Jon:

She died in her sleep last year. But I'm still proud of her.

Looks like she enjoyed it too

Nah, it doesn't have anything to do with Jon. I was really pointing out more so how lame it is for the husband that he has to watch the woman he's allegedly spending the rest of his life get more excited about Jon Bon than him on this very special day. When you include the fact that they're getting married in Vegas, it makes their marriage seem all the more nebulous.

Which is why I think it's tacky and lame. But no, it's not Jon's fault. He's just an action figure. It could be, you know, Yanni walking with her. Same deal.

This is where a"Like" or "Agree" button is needed......

Personally think it just adds to the tackiness of getting married in Vegas in the first place........
Getting married in Vegas may be tacky to you but many people elope and choose Vegas as the place to do it. No need to pass judgment on them for that.

I thought this story was sweet and it was nice of Jon to walk her down the aisle. As for the husband, he must have known he was marrying a Bon Jovi superfan. Maybe now that Jon showed up in person and fulfilled her dream, she'll calm down.

First thing I have ever agreed with, that you've written.

But I guess for some people (me included) - the marriage far outweighs the wedding. This was indeed tacky, but a good tacky. Some people like tacky.

I couldn't disagree more. Only one who posses insecure jealous tendencies would think this way.

Throwing a quarter in the slots and winning 20K prior to the ceremony would add that same element of excitement but I wouldn't say that she cares more about the money than the wedding.

Having a celebrity show up at your wedding shares a different type of excitement, or adds an extra thrill of excitement to that special day. Having Jon show up for 5 minutes to walk the bride down the aisle should not cause any element of comparison to the wedding day in itself.

There is nothing tacky about this. How do you cope in your personal lives is beyond me.
