Jon Bon Jovi goes undercover

I just found this and shared in another topic, but I think it deserves it's own.

Here we can see Jon doing a Karaoke to ABC. I don't know the show, sorry for this.

So, we can see Jon hitting high notes, that I thought that he was not capable anymore. Yeah, I know this is totally different of a gig, but if he can hits this notes without a warm up and in a informal thing, why his voice looks so thin and weak in the gigs?

Share your thoughts...This really surprised me. I don't know if I am seeing too much into this, but I didn't expected this from Jon nowaday.

I guess this is his way of making it up the "little people" fans who have been priced out of the promo tour.

This made me smile. Nice to see him not take himself so serious (and sound fine).

The majority of those tickets are FREE. I got one of those!!

I'm very cynical so I always think those things are staged but anyway it's a fun way to reach the fans.

And regarding his voice, according to supposed singers/voice experts, Jon could still sing high notes but there's absolutely no reason for him to do it since his current vocal technique is supposed to preserve his vocal chords until he decides to call it quits. It's just a happy medium for him. What *I* think is that he can't sound his best anymore because whatever he's doing, is not natural for him so it's an extra mental effort. Easy and better for his voice, but harder work, requires training, concentration, etc.

We should kick start a "Make Jon sing Livin' on a Prayer in its original key" campaign, donate all proceedings to charity. I betcha with all the money we'll raise here, he would have to acknowledge us and do it

I still have one in college so my biggest charity right now is me.... but I did add $25. It is a very well ran charity. It's the 10th anniversary and the karaoke was to garner attention to that.
