But why doesn't he give his all in the studio? I get that singles nowadays need to be carefully thought around the vocals he can realistically deliver night after night for months, it has backfired in the past when they had to rework the new singles so his voice could survive through the tour. But what about the album cuts that nobody is ever going to hear live?
I strongly suspected that we wouldn't have vocals like Who Would Your Die For or Teardrop in a real album and I wasn't wrong. I understand why, but it surely wouldn't hurt him to sing with more passion in a couple of songs, it really makes a difference and I'm not even talking about high notes
