Alright, I rarely spend any words on 9/11 and don't really understand why 9/11 had to be dragged into this, but I kinda feel I need to defend some people, so here goes:
If people like you had any understanding of what really happened to your country, pictures like those wouldn't exist. I've talked to the people that were involved in the tragedies of 9/11 and have nothing but respect for their situation and the way they dealt with it back then. I've been shown pictures of the crashed firetrucks no one else has seen and it's left a big impression on me. However, the people I've talked and the people who have shown me those pictures are in no way related to the mockery shown in the picture I posted.
You are, on the other hand, the exact stereotype that portrays what many smarter Americans wish wouldn't exist in your country. You've got your American ego with your American patriotic attitude and come on here acting as if you're the best thing since sliced bread. It makes you a joke, and your bigotry is the exact reason why pictures like these exist. You however miss out on it, you don't understand that the mockery in the picture describes you, because you're way too busy convincing yourself on how awesome you are. America is the best, right?
If there'd be fewer people like you and more of the people I talked to, America would have fewer problems in the first place, but it's your ignorance and lack of tolerance towards others that has put your country where it is right now. You pointing your finger at me in regards to showing respect for a tragedy in your country while you fail to understand the whole idea behind it in the first place and are actually feeding the anger that keeps causing the downfall in America is kind of ironic.
So yeah, tomorrow is a big day for America, but as long as Americans like you can't be tolerant towards people on a simple messageboard I seriously doubt much is going to change. You can pay your respects all you want, but it looks like you haven't learned a single thing which is quite depressing considering the sheer size of the attacks. But then again, so far you've shown that you're quite a few cards short of a deck and still don't quite understand irony, so who are you really to tell me how to handle a thing like 9/11?
Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan
