Sure he did it for promo, BUT this was the first call of a competition of getting a celebrity to call into the station. The winning person gets £20,000! to donate to charity and the celebrity that wins gets to donate £10,000!

Yes, Jon has been known to read a few posts on the fanclub forum of late. He's even posted once.

This breakfast show DJ seems a big fan of the band!! This morning when Katie Melua rang in, he asked her if she would come to the station and perform a cover of a Bon Jovi song, either "Bad Name" or "Prayer". Then he played "Welcome...". For UK radio, this seems pretty good to me!!!!
