Default Jon confirmed Sugarland to do Crossroads show with Bon Jovi

At Elements someone asked and he said it was true Bon Jovi was doing a Crossroads show with Sugarland on CMT. I love Sugarland- seems like an odd pairing at first but I think they both have a similar thread of optimism in their songs and Sugarland is supposed to rock live!

That will be different. All those who feared a little duet with Keith will be appalled at this news. LOL Sugarland, even though I love them, are waaaaaay country. I've got no problem with the pairing. I like that Bon Jovi don't pigeonhole themselves and aren't afraid to try new things.

Don't know Sugarland, but good to see the band doing something different.

I think my CD is at work, but I can send you a song next week just to hear their sound, Bootleg Queen.

Sugarland is very country! It would be interesting to see what they whip up. However, if you've heard the TLFR version of You Give Love a Bad Name.. JBJ doesn't have such a bad country voice.

Regards

Here is their web site if you want to sample some of their music
http://www.sugarlandmusic.com

They are to me kind of Dixie Chick country- the singer has a twang but the music is solid. Lots of rock, adult alternative, and country influences in the band- all three of them had solo careers outside of country in their own right before forming the band.

I've had there song "Something More" stuck in my head all day! Like others already said, at least they aren't limiting themselves. This reminds me of a dream I had before These Days was released. At that time, I didn't like country music at all...I had this (at that time) horrible dream that These Days ended up being a country album. LOL!
