I think for the band, it was a great album like Donna said, it helped them regenerate their energy in the US, and sold a sh!t load of albums worldwide. Just because there aren't some fans of the album, doesn't mean it's horrible - it just means people's taste in music is different.
Yes exactly. I am sure they are proud of Crush and what it has acheived for them as a band. If it had bombed, who knows what may have happened, maybe they would not be still as huge as they are today!
So, it's not a pure rock album like the previous ones were but you gotta admit, times change. Now in 2003 it is time for good old rock n roll again and hopefully they will come back with another kick a** rock album next time around! Jon is smart he knows what he is doing and he is always one step ahead of the game. you gotta keep the faith!

Crush is a very good album, ok its not there best one but as people have said before your still getting people cheering at Just Older, I got the girl etc.

Crush made a new generation of fans turn to Bon Jovi. Alot of my mates brought this as their first BJ album, and absoultly loved it. When they had listened to it, they were hitched. This happened with alot of other people aswell, and if that aint something to be proud of, i dont know what is.

Bon Jovi was a good album but I am still not a fan of 7800. That is the album I least listen to because I dont like the songs. The only song I like on it is Only Lonely, and that isnt excellent.

I don't think Jon should be embarrassed by any of his work - it all reflects how he (and the band) feel at the time their writing and a time in their lives. Just because one album sounds different than another doesn't lower it's quality any, it just means it's different. Period. Plus, there truly isn't a "best" or "worst" album by Jon or the guys because it's about personal preference.

I think Bon Jovi, as a group, are very satisfied with all their albums, solo projects, and songs. If they didn't like the songs that they opened to the public - why allow themselves to place them on the albums? If Bon Jovi is happy with the final cut of the album we should be too. They did put hard work and many hours on every album they have produced together and separately, it's only right to enjoy it.

i wrote jon should be embarased by crush and destination aywhere because he said that he is embarased by their first 2 albums.....mine was just a kind of answer.....i think he should be more proud about the first 2 and (maybe)not by crush or bounce.....but i think also a musician should never be embarased by ant of his works

I know that, so why is he saying 'Jon should be embarrassed by', and not Richie or the entire band?

1) Jon is in the band - it's his music and his option to like/dislike/favor some songs, albums, tours over others. Just because YOU DON'T AGREE WITH JON, doesn't mean his opinion is wrong and it doesn't mean yours is right.

2) Jon didn't put out 10 solo albums - they're BAND albums.

3) When I was 14/15 I listened to the first two albums. Now that I'm older and I've followed the band, I like the newer stuff and am fond of the older stuff. I've been there from the begin and have grown up with the band. No offense, but it's a bit bizarre to see 17, 18, 19 and 20 year olds complaining about how the band sucks now and were much better on their records and in concerts... when the people complaining weren't eating solid foods or using the restroom yet.

Yes I have to agree here. It is a bit bizarre to me too. No offence guys, but you can see how the long time fans can get a little put out sometimes by your comments as they have been there for the band throughout their whole career.
