I'm going to go out on a limb and guarantee that this won't be there last tour.

I agree.

Jon will announce a goodbye tour then and tickets pries will triple And people will pay because it is the last time (unless you are John Farnham - Aussies will know what I am talking about)

Doesn't sound if it will end soon but God knows why Jon still sticks with Universal since they doesn't do a proper job promoting the band and Jon clearly is/was mad because of that.

That's the publishing deal, not the record deal.

Even if they never write or record another song, he still needs someone to administer the licensing and royalties on the back catalog.

yes it's about his royalties on the songs ....but still I smell this as a nothing is going to change in the jovi land ..if he was going to stop working for a long while he could also have changed the publishing company

and I love how it is clear it is HIS business his name his deal his money ... I don't think JON will stop working ..but his band you don't know I don't think the deal makes him the owner of his musicians

You know this seems to bug the fans a whole lot more than it does the band, since it's been this way for nerly 30 years now.
My guess is they take a couple years off , then they get back together and get back to work.
