? Yeah, right I am just mad because someone didnt notice me...You are right, the music is awesome, it is all about the music and there is no shallowness around anything Jon does and it is total authentic and from the heart.

Sorry...all me...

I am just pissed that the band that was once great has become nothing more than an average band which is overhyped by femael worshippers. This has nothing to do with my experience at the SK (and I never said it was just awful) I just critizised that there is a lot of show and entitlement going on there). Even when I was there I said that I am not a fan anymore because of all of the things I just stated. But that is ok, there is a lot of good music out there, it is not that I have been listening to Bon Jovi a lot during the last 5 years or so.

Or maybe because a lot of u here are not really fans, just like to bitch and complain about everything. Jon has had a long 30+year career, he can ANYTHING HE WANTS TO DO NOW, and guess what, HE DOES NOT NEED YOUR APPROVAL OF ANYTHING. Now in fairness, maybe his last couple of albums may not have been the greatest in the world, but THIS IS NOT THE 80'S! OR 90'S! and I as a long time fan I accept that, Jon nor the band owe my ANYTHING! I am not going to demand them to make the kind of record I want to hear just to please me or fill me ego, which it seems many of you here tend to do, bitch and complain about not only his "lazy, uninspiring, lack of talent, has no voice, can't sing nor perform on stage no good talent" boy sometimes I wish Jon could see this website, the first thing he would say is "FU" he is NOT going to bow down to u guys just because u don't like his new music, and look I am not saying u have to like it, I mean there are some stuff of BJ recently I don't like either, but I am not going to totally disrespect the guy or the band neither, When he goes on the road, he goes with his full heart, even if everything is falling apart in his personal or professional life, he goes on like a trooper, and yet u guys still are not satisfied, especially the last tour, his long time guitar player just left him without any warning, he had personal issues with his daughter, health issues, esp. with his knees, goes on a stage with a knee brace and still performs as well as he could, and yet some of u hear, its not good enough. Can u guys here who constantly criticize him, belittle him, making him seem like he is a no good musician at all, at least respect Jon for at least doing what I just mentioned? He could have easily just cancelled the last tour, but HE DIDN'T he moved forward, FOR U GUYS!! but once again, for some of u here, its still not good enough. So I probably said ALOT here, but I have been this board for a while now and I am at a point where I feel that some "fans" here just want to belittle Jon. Now of course Jon is not perfect, he may have done some things that maybe we might question, but once again, ITS HIS DECISION, NOT YOURS! He can do what he wants to do with his career and life now because simply HE HAS EARNED IT! He toured and toured for many years in the 80's , back to back tours, even when he started his family, he toured, sacrificed many things from his children, not attending there school plays, football games, he still toured. I think now he is at a point in his life where he can do what he wants to do, and maybe that is probably one of the reasons why Richie left, he realized that he was getting older and just wanted to move on and do something different, which I can totally respect, maybe he could have just done it in a different way.
And one more thing, the whole thing of the Runaway Tours, u guys bitch and complain about how crazy expensive to go, well, yes, they are expensive, I could not afford it, but do u see me bitch and complain, no, if u can't afford it, then u can't, and for the ones who can, what is the big deal, why complain about it, why make it a big deal that they charge what they charge, just because he does it does not make him a "sell out" or anything, again, ITS HIS SHOW, ITS HIS LIFE, sounds like some of u hear who complain about are just jealous, just my opinion.

OK, enough of my soapbox, if I offended anyone here, I am sorry, but I just had to let this out of my chest, if u don't agree of what I said, that's fine, u don't have to, its just my personal observation of this board. Thanks for taking the time to read this.

Ok, Tico stixx that steve carell pix was funny, maybe I was a bit too loud, but I was just frustrated with all of the crazy negative posts about Jon, that's all. and to FAITH1985, I don't know if you actually read my post thoroughly, but I have no idea why u mention the Soul Kitchen? I did not mention not one little thing about it all! And I read your posts a couple of times over, it just does not make any sense to me at all. But I said in the last post, if I offended anyone, I apologize, I don't apologize of what I said, but the way it came out.

I don't see how this commercial is any more of an embarrassment than any commercial the band or members have been linked to in the past.

Band--Sony (or was it Sanyo?) in Japan
Richie--Snapple (that was embarrassing)
Advil (WAY more embarrassing than DirecTV!)
Mitsubishi
Coca-Cola (big brand, but really, the stuff is like drinking poison)
Duracell
Jon & John Elway (another one I found funny, not embarrassing)
Rock Against Drugs (good cause but Jon came across rather goofy in it)

My spec is that the TV show that was linked to Comcast last year is now linked to DirecTV and that's why he did it.

Honestly I don't see what is the big deal for Jon or any other band members to do a commercial, its not like their promoting anything harmful or silly, its just a commercial, many artists have done commercials, it doesn't make them any less talented, did anyone see the Steven Tyler commercial for the candy Skittles? Sure it was a little awkward, but it was funny and cute.

It's not a big deal. Jon did the Adil commercial a few years back and no one cared but the jingle is throwing people off

i find this diff because its almost, or outright is, mocking the songwriting and the sound the band is known for...

the talent....

one of the last remaining legs to stand up for....

i wont even go into the makeup...

and the fact that the song/jingle is regarded as decent.....

well.....

that might say it all....

how far we have fallen....

ill be in Canada in a couple - watching Pearl Jams 1,000 show....

shocking the polar opposite trajectories of 2 great bands...

haven't really wanted to see Jovi since my last show in Portugal 2011....that might be a good one to go out on...

terribly disappointing....

but hey the last batch of songs i liked.....just wish that would be the focus and not this continuing pimping nonsense of every last dollar....when will he realize a good song is worth so much more than all this.....along with just intrinsically....

.......

On facebook, there are some people who are saying that the Direct TV commercial song is the actual first single! some people are so impatient for this new album that they make up "songs' to hurrying this up. If any new song would be coming out it would probably be around late summer or early fall, and Bon Jovi people will make it official.

My only fear is that this jingle is an altered version of the new single. Instead of the 'Power To Turn Back Time' it's the 'Power To Something'... Obviously 'Spicy instead of Mild' wouldn't be a lyric but I just have that gut feeling, and I hope I'm wrong, that this jingle is the kick off promotion of the first single. The old model wasn't working anymore and this might be it folks.
