Although I don't hate everything the man says or does like Seb, I admit, Jon's full of BS. What's ironic about his interviews is, he could very easily do what he claims he will (play 3 hours and play parts of the entire catalogue), and he seems to know that's exactly what people want, yet he doesn't make good on those statements. Just like his "we mix the shows up all the time". Yeah - OK.

Can somebody tell me what is he exactly saying about another country album? It seems to me that he is not against another one. This is an example of his lies. I heard somewhere that this was just one off experiment and after LH tour it will be over (as well as the B-street band)

He thinks that LH was positively accepted - he has probably never been to this board

Yes, wearing sunglasses while speaking to somebody is rude, he is even in a room!! But I think Americans couldn't be without sunglasses and don't care if it's polite or not. (nothing against you!!)

I'm not a gay but I got to say that this a bit longer haircut is much better that the DA one from autumn.

Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles were both rude.

I've been a fan for 17 years and if I came to such a conclusion I would not longer be a fan, that means I didn't. So, how you managed to define yet again who Jon is and what fans think of him is beyond me.

You're just an awfully rude and contemptuous know-it-all for the sake of it.

Uhm, okay, gotta' butt in here...you're all sounding a bit naive.

If you've been a fan at all, for any length of time, it should be clear that Jon says whatever comes into his head in interviews. Always has, always will. We all know he hates them anyway, so why the shocked surprise? It's not news that Jon will contradict himself in interviews, and it's not just something that's happened recently either.

If you're a front man of a band, especially one as commercially minded as Jovi (and let's face it, they always have been), you're going to say whatever will sell tickets/records. That's just the way it is - you probably learn to be a professional bullshitter, and Jon's up there with the best. To me, that doesn't say anything about him other than he's also good at that side of his job.

That's why I don't lay much credence with anything said in an interview with him - to me, it makes no difference to the music.

I think it was a rather lame interview with the same old predictable questions. Jon never responds very will for interviews like this.
There have been others he's done in Oz where he has been quite funny, because the questions were not the same ol.

Yeah, but isnt saying "whatever will sell tickets/records" at least a little bit questionnable considering the fact that, in Jon's case, this implies deliberate lying!?
And saying that "that's just the way it is", doesnt exactly make it correct, does it!?

So looking at the way Jon is behaving, people have every right to critisise his behaviour without being called an arsehole or other rude things.
